The Name of JESUS

I was awakened today at 4:30 a.m. March 27, 2020 with this message in my heart and I was prompted through the HOLY GHOST that I must get up write and share!  I pray that you are blessed.

Many have lost their way in this world!

The Organized Church has lost its way!

We are surrounded at times by calamity!

We face many challenges!

But the early NT Church in the Book of Acts faced even greater challenges than most experience today.  However, a few of our brothers and sisters in the LORD are facing similar challenges today as those in the early NT Church as they are being persecuted for their faith.  They have been tossed into prisons!  Some of them were beheaded and killed in other cruel and torturous ways for their faith!

Focusing back on the early NT Church, they possessed something that we have lost and we need to find and possess again – THE NAME OF JESUS!

They consistently relied on, trusted in, proclaimed, preached, had faith in, and lived by THE NAME OF JESUS!

If you read the first five chapters of the Book of Acts, you will find this pattern that they consistently preached in THE NAME OF JESUS.  They healed by faith in THE NAME OF JESUS. (Click here for our NT Church Movement’s Chart of the first 5 Chapters of Acts!)

When told that they could NOT preach in THE NAME OF JESUS, they challenged the rulers of their day and asked a question.  They asked which of these is right; should we obey man or should we obey GOD?  (Acts 4:17-20)

Today we are being requested through various means NOT to preach or teach in THE NAME OF JESUS!  Many find THE NAME OF JESUS offensive!!

But I am writing to remind you that there is POWER in THE NAME OF JESUS!  There is HOPE in THE NAME OF JESUS!  There is FAITH in THE NAME OF JESUS!  And when we call THE NAME OF JESUS, HEAVEN HEARS! Because GOD has proclaimed that when we preach and teach in THE NAME OF JESUS, He would show up with signs and wonders! (Acts 4:29-30)

I believe that we do NOT see the miracles that the early NT Church witnessed in their day because we have forgotten THE NAME OF JESUS!  We have NOT been focusing on the Scriptural commandments that we should call on and have faith in THE NAME OF JESUS!

It was JESUS who died for us!  It was JESUS who hung and bled on the cross for our sins!  JESUS was falsely accused!  JESUS was beat and tortured more than any man ever!  They whipped JESUS with 39 lashes!!  His body was ripped to shreds!  He should have died from the beating alone!  They pressed a crown of thorn into His head!  They put a heavy wooden cross on his back!  They made Him carry that heavy cross up Golgotha’s hill!  And if that were not enough, they nailed Him to the cross; nails in His hands and nails in His feet.  And, they hung Him up at the sixth hours which is the brightest part of the day at noon.  And, JESUS hung on that cross from the sixth (noon) to the ninth hour (3 p.m.) and He died at the time of the evening Passover sacrifice (3 p.m.).  And then JESUS died as our Passover LAMB!  And when JESUS died, He entered the Most Holy place in the temple, DESTROYING the VEIL, once and for all!  JESUS fulfilled the OT Law and ended the practice of Temple worship.  NT Believers are now the Temple of the HOLY GHOST and of GOD! (1 Cor. 3:16-17; Eph. 2:19-22)

(Heb 9:11-12 KJV) (11) But CHRIST being come an High Priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;  (12)  Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but BY HIS OWN BLOOD HE ENTERED IN ONCE INTO THE HOLY PLACE, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

No one has suffered more and GOD allowed His SON to do this because He loved us so much.  GOD so loved us that He allowed His SON, JESUS, to die the most horrible death that has been witnessed in history!

The FATHER loved His SON!

The SON loved us!

NO one else has suffered in such a manner for us!

NO one else died for us!

It is SAD that we have forgotten about THE NAME OF JESUS.  It is SAD that we NO longer call and trust in THE NAME OF JESUS.

But if you want to regain your power, if you want to restore your faith, and if you want to have or be at peace in a tumultuous world, it is once again time that today’s Believers begin to WALK by THE NAME OF JESUS!  TALK about THE NAME OF JESUS!  STOP focusing on inviting people to your Organized Church and STOP focusing on getting them to follow your favorite religious personality.  But BEGIN telling them your testimony about THE NAME OF JESUS.  And BEGIN inviting them to KNOW and FOLLOW JESUS.  STOP praying aimlessly but BEGIN command healing in THE NAME OF JESUS!

And when we call on that great NAME JESUS, the FATHER hears!  It is a recognition of CHRIST’S suffering, His death, but more important His resurrection through which we have life.

Let today mark the day that we once again fervently, faithfully, and continually begin to call THE NAME OF JESUS!  Without fear, without shame!  Trust in JESUS! Call that NAME JESUS in FAITH!  Believe in THE NAME OF JESUS!  And you too shall obtain salvation, grow in faith, and see and receiving healing in your life and in lives of those around you!

Love in JESUS CHRIST!

Apostle Kelvin Godfrey Franklin

JESUS DID MIRACLES, SIGNS, AND WONDERS

(Acts 2:22) Ye men of Israel, hear these words; JESUS of Nazareth, a man approved of GOD among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which GOD did by Him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

JESUS RAISED THE DEAD

(Acts 2:32-33) (32) This JESUS hath GOD raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.  (33)  Therefore being by the right hand of GOD exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the HOLY GHOST, He hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

REPENT AND BE BAPTIZED IN JESUS CHRIST

(Acts 2:38) Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the HOLY GHOST.

(Acts 3:6) Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I NONE; but such as I have give I thee: In THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth rise up and walk.

REPENT AND RECEIVE JESUS

(Acts 3:19-20)  (19) Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the LORD; (20)  And He shall send JESUS CHRIST, which before was preached unto you:

RELIGIOUS LEADERS GRIEVED OVER PREACHING ABOUT JESUS

(Acts 4:1-2)  (1) And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,  (2)  Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through JESUS the resurrection from the dead.

RELIGIOUS LEADERS WANTED TO KNOW THE SOURCE OF BELIEVER’S POWER

(Acts 4:7) And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?

LAME HEALED BY THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST

(Acts 4:8-12)  (8) Then Peter, filled with the HOLY GHOST, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,  (9)  If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;  (10)  Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom GOD raised from the dead, even by Him doth this man stand here before you whole.  (11)  This is the Stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.  (12)  Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other NAME under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

COMMANEDED NOT TO TEACH OR PREACH IN NAME OF JESUS

(Acts 4:17-18) (17) But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to NO man in this NAME.  (18) And they called them, and commanded them NOT to speak at all NOR teach in THE NAME OF JESUS.

APOSTLES DEFIANT AND OBYED GOD RATHER THAN MAN / PREACHED IN THE NAME OF JESUS

(Acts 4:19-20) (19) But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of GOD to hearken unto you more than unto GOD, judge ye.  (20)  For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.

APOSTLE’S PRAYER – GOD HEALS, SIGNS AND WONDERS IN THE NAME OF JESUS

(Acts 4:26-30) (26) The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the LORD, and against His CHRIST.  (27)  For of a truth against thy HOLY CHILD JESUS, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together, (28) For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.  (29)  And now, LORD, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy Word, (30) By stretching forth thine hand to HEAL; and that SIGNS and WONDERS may be done by the NAME OF THY HOLY CHILD JESUS.

APOSTLES GAVE WITNESS OF THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS

(Acts 4:33) And with great power gave the apostles WITNESS of the RESURRECTION  of THE LORD JESUS: and great grace was upon them all.

ANGEL COMMANDS GO TO TEMPLE AND PREACH OF JESUS AND HIS LIFE

(Acts 5:17-20) (17) Then the high priest rose up, and all they that were with him, (which is the sect of the Sadducees,) and were filled with indignation, (18)  And laid their hands on the apostles, and put them in the common prison.  (19)  But the angel of the LORD by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said, (20)  Go, STAND and SPEAK in the TEMPLE to the people ALL THE WORDS OF THIS LIFE.

RELIGIOUS LEADERS WANTED TO KNOW BY WHAT NAME WHERE THEY PREACHING

(Acts 5:27-28) (27) And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them, (28)  Saying, Did NOT we straitly command you that ye should NOT teach in this NAME? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this MAN’S BLOOD upon us.

APOSTLES PROCLAIM PREACHING AND TEACHING IN JESUS NAME

(Acts 5:29-32) (29) Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey GOD rather than men.  (30)  The GOD of our fathers raised up JESUS, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.  (31)  Him hath GOD exalted with his right hand to be a PRINCE and a SAVIOUR, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.  (32)  And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the HOLY GHOST, whom GOD hath given to them that obey him.

COMMANDED NOT TO SPEAK IN THE NAME OF JESUS

(Acts 5:40) And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should NOT speak in THE NAME OF JESUS, and let them go.

APOSTLES TAUGHT AND PREACHED JESUS CHRIST IN TEMLE AND FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE

(Acts 5:41-42) (41) And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His NAME.  (42)  And daily in the temple, and in every HOUSE, they CEASED NOT to teach and preach JESUS CHRIST.

I PRAY THAT ALL WHO READ AND STUDY THIS ONCE AGAIN BOLDLY PROCLAIM THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST AGAIN THROUGHOUT THE EARTH!!!

What is the Sincere Milk of the Word?

THEME: “Understanding How to Grow as a Disciple of JESUS CHRIST”

(1 Pet 2:2-3 KJV)  (2) As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: (3) If so be ye have tasted that the LORD is gracious.

Do you feel stunted in your growth as a true Believer and disciple of JESUS CHRIST?  Have you been attending Organized Churches your entire life but you feel you still have not grown and you are wondering why and what you missed?  Have you listened to sermons, attended bible studies, faithfully attended Sunday School every week, read numerous religious books, attended conferences, attended healing and deliverance services and did everything you were told spiritually, yet you still feel that something is missing and that you have not really grown?  Are you simply sick of feeling that you are not growing and you are almost tired of looking for answers?

The question of what is the primary thing I must do to grow spiritually has plagued many who are seeking a deeper fellowship with JESUS.

GOD provides a simple and comprehensive answer in His Word; the sincere milk of the Word is a must if one is to grow.  (1 Peter 2:2)  There is no substitute for the reading of the Word of GOD on an individual basis.  It is amazing that many Organized Churches and Christian organizations do not encourage members to read the Word of GOD for themselves.

However, if we are to grow, we need to desire to take in the sincere milk of the Word.  There is no other secret or replacement method for true spiritual growth in GOD than to acquire the knowledge of JESUS through the reading of the Word for oneself.  If we love JESUS, then we will want to know more about Him.  When we read the Word we come to really know JESUS because JESUS is the Word made flesh.

(John 1:1 & 14 KJV)  (1) In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with GOD, and the WORD was GOD. (14) And the WORD was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only Begotten of the FATHER,) full of grace and truth.

(Heb 10:7 KJV)  Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of Me,) to do thy will, O GOD.

WHAT IS SINCERE MILK

But exactly what does that it mean in layman’s terms to “desire the sincere milk of the Word?  What is the sincere milk of the Word?

I never focused or spent much time on really trying to understand or define what the sincere milk of the Word is until the past few years when the HOLY GHOST spoke to my heart and shared with me these insights that I will share with you here.

The HOLY GHOST prompted me to think about a newborn baby and the way GOD engineered for it to grow.  GOD placed within the woman a source that generates milk that is pure and originates within her for the purpose of providing her newborn baby the nourishment that it needs to grow to become strong and mature.

Sincere or pure milk could therefore be defined as that which comes directly from the source and provides nourishment that produces growth.

A mother’s milk is untouched by the world and can only be corrupted by what the mother takes into her body.  Not only does the mother’s milk provide nourishment, it also provides the baby with natural antibodies that helps to protect it from germs and illnesses (see government fact sheet on breast feeding).

Furthermore, the HOLY GHOST had me to consider man’s alternative to the sincere milk of the woman to gain additional insights.  Today, in our modern world, man has created formula to replace the mother’s milk.  With names like Enfamil and Similac, formula provides an alternative nourishment source to the mother’s milk.  Formula serves as a quick and convenient replacement that relieves mothers from the requirement to be constantly available to nurse their children.  These replacements are formulated by some man in some laboratory and filled with what some man thinks is best for the nourishment of a baby.  The shortcomings of formula is that man lacks the ability to exactly replicate the mother’s nutritional milk and more importantly formula lacks the natural antibodies that a mother’s body provides to protect the baby from germs and illnesses.

Now, let’s look at the spiritual comparison.  Based on this analogy of a mother and her baby, the sincere milk can be defined as the Word of GOD that comes directly from the source who is GOD to the individual who is a true Believer and disciple of JESUS CHRIST.  Since GOD is pure and undefiled, the word that originates directly from GOD can be considered pure and undefiled when it is NOT affected by outside sources.  Stated another way, GOD’s Word that comes directly from the pages of the Book of the Holy Scriptures (the Bible) to the individual readers without any external influence can be defined as the sincere milk of the Word.

Peter was inspired by the HOLY GHOST to outline the process for growing to maturity (2 Peter 1:5-12) and he further encouraged believers to pursue sincere milk of the Word to serve as their source of growth and as a defense against false teachers.

The HOLY GHOST revealed to Peter that there would be many false prophets in the last days and he encouraged the pursuit of the sincere milk of the Word as a means of immunizing the true Believers from false teachers, prophets, doctrines and spirits that would seek to overthrow the faith of Believers and caused them to not grow.  (2 Peter 2:1-22)

HOW DO I PUT THIS INTO PRACTICE?

How do we put this into practice?  The only way to get the sincere milk of the Word is to read  the Word of GOD (the Book of the Holy Scriptures) for yourself.  GOD provided His Word through the inspiration of the HOLY GHOST through holy men who recorded exactly what GOD had spoken so that followers and Believers of GOD might read and acquire knowledge of JESUS, GOD’s commandments, GOD’s will, GOD’s plan and GOD’s purpose that He has for everyone and everything in the world.

(2 Pet 1:19-21 KJV)  (19) We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: (20) Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Scripture is of any private interpretation. (21) For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of GOD spake as they were moved by the HOLY GHOST (see also verses 15-18).

We are encouraged by the Word of GOD that as true Believers and disciples of JESUS CHRIST we should read the Word of God (the Book of the Holy Scriptures) for ourselves.  JESUS taught us that man should not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeded out of the mouth of GOD.  (St Matthew 4:4)  We were taught to pray for the FATHER to give us this day our daily bread.  (St Matthew 6:11)  We are encouraged to study to show ourselves approved unto GOD.  (2 Timothy 2:15)  We are encouraged to meditate.  (Psalms 1)  We are encouraged to read the Word of GOD for direction and guidance.  (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Psalms 119)

Secondly, somehow the direction in the Word of GOD that individuals should become readers of GOD’s Word is NOT a point of emphasis in many Organized Churches.  I know that it was never a major point of emphasis in most Organized Churches that I attended throughout my life.

Unfortunately, for many, in place of the sincere milk of the Word, we have turned to the formula of the Word, as a modern convenience.  The formula of the Word is when we receive GOD’s word through a man or organization who reads and studies on our behalf and provide us their interpretation of what they believe GOD is saying in his Word.  This method can provide benefit if the individuals we are following are truly sent by GOD and they follow the word verbatim to equip and train the church (Ephesians 4:11-16) or it can have devastating results if they are a false prophet who lead to destruction (2 Peter 3:14-18(i.e., Jim Jones, David Koresh, etc.) or if the someone truly sent by GOD makes an innocent mistake or misread or misinterprets the Word.

Just as society has turned to formula as a modern convenience, far too many disciples of JESUS CHRIST are relying on the formula version of the Word that is provided by man as their PRIMARY and sometimes ONLY source for nourishment.  Rather than making the reading of GOD’s Word a priority in their individual lives, many choose to rely on some man, woman, or organization to teach and interpret the Word of GOD rather than relying on the HOLY GHOST as their Teacher as we are instructed.  GOD purposely sent the HOLY GHOST to be a Teacher.  (St John 14:26)  The HOLY GHOST will recall all things to your remembrance and ensure that you are not be misled.  (1 John 2:26-27)   However, we need to give the HOLY GHOST something to work with.  The HOLY GHOST cannot help you remember something that you have never made a member of your body through reading, studying, and meditating.

PRINCIPLES TO LIVE BY

The GREAT NEWS is that GOD has promised to teach you if you will turn to Him!!!  This next statement is being capitalized because it will set you free:

  1. READING IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY!
  2. STUDYING IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY!
  3. MEDITATING IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY!
  4. UNDERSTANDING IS NOT YOUR RESPONSIBILITY….IT IS THE WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT!!

I write this because many people say they do NOT read the Word of GOD because they do not understand it.  Please make a decision today to erase that excuse from you mind.  STOP TAKING ON RESPONSIBILITIES THAT ARE NOT YOURS!! GOD does not want you to worry about understanding because He will provide you understanding when you are obedient to His Word.  He wants every Believer to be obedient and read His Word so they will not be destroyed.  (Hosea 4:6)

Once you start reading, you will be amazed at how the HOLY GHOST will begin speaking to your heart and mind to instruct you.  (St John 10:1-5)  GOD wants you to know the truth.  He is not trying to hide it from you or make it difficult.  He wants you to know all about Him.  All you have to do is open the Book of the Holy Scriptures and read.

The HOLY GHOST led me to challenge everyone who is of age to read from the book of ST JOHN through the New Testament to the book of JUDE for the year of 2020.  It is not a mandatory requirement.  It is simply an exhortation to which every individual has the opportunity, if they choose, to willingly take on the challenge to be diligent in reading through the Book of the Holy Scriptures, your Bible.  You are welcomed to take on the challenge with us for the year if you want to give it a try.

REFERENCE SCRIPTURES

Here are some scriptures for your consideration:

(1 John 2:26-27 KJV)  (26) These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. (27) But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him.

(John 14:26 KJV)  But the Comforter, which is the HOLY GHOST, whom the FATHER will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

(John 16:13 KJV)  Howbeit when he, the Spirit of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will show you things to come.

(Hosea 4:6 KJV)  My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to Me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy GOD, I will also forget thy children.

(Rom 12:1-2 KJV)  (1) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of GOD, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto GOD, which is your reasonable service. (2) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of GOD.

(Heb 8:10-11 KJV)  (10) For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the LORD; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a GOD, and they shall be to me a people:  (11) And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for all shall know Me, from the least to the greatest.

I am humbled that GOD blessed me to understand from an early age that I needed to read GOD’s Word and I have been doing so my entire life having read the Book of the Holy Scriptures through some 5 to 10 times or more.  I do weep for those who are missing out on this great truth and I pray that my sharing of the insights the HOLY GHOST has given me on this subject will help many to find and experience this great gift of growth one can only experience through the daily reading of GOD’s Word.

Love in JESUS CHRIST,

What is the “New Testament Church Movement”

(Acts 2:41-47 KJV) (41)Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. (42) And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. (43) And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. (44) And all that believed were together, and had all things common; (45) And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. (46) And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,(47) Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Praise the Lord. Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

I feel an urgency from the Lord in my spirit to give voice to a silent movement that is growing in the hearts and minds of those who seek to be true followers, disciples and believers of Jesus Christ.

I am speaking to those whose spirit the Holy Ghost has also grieved as we see the dilapidated and fallen condition of what I will henceforth refer to as the “Organized Church” (2 Thess. 2:1-4)(1 Tim. 4:1-7). I’m speaking to those who feel lost in the hypocrisy and the never ending messages and teachings regarding the pursuit of money, prosperity and favor being espoused by so many Organized Churches today (1 Tim. 3:2-3)(1 Tim. 3:8)(Tit. 1:7)(1 Tim. 6:6-10) . I’m speaking to those who have tried and tested these messages and teachings and have found that they don’t fill the emptiness or overcome the depression and loneliness that so many feel that drew them to seek help there in the first place.

I’m speaking to those that yearn for the New Testament Church as presented in the Holy Scriptures (Acts 2:41-47). I’ve speaking to those that yearn for the sincerity, simplicity, purity and holiness that God expects and desires and the Holy Scriptures demands from those who would profess salvation in Jesus Christ (1 Tim 1:5). I’m speaking to those that yearn to be filled with the Love of God and to share and feel that same love with mankind (Matt. 22:36-40).

WHAT THE MOVEMENT IS NOT

First, please permit me to define what this New Testament Church Movement is NOT. It is not an organization. It has no human leader. It does not require a headquarters, buildings or any other support. It does not center on an individual. It does not have a physical location or address. It is not a business. It is not a denomination. It does not require marches, protests and demonstrations on behalf of its members. It does not seek to have status in this world.

WHAT THE MOVEMENT IS

The “New Testament Church Movement” is a name given to me by the Holy Spirit to describe this effort he is doing in these latter days. It came to me on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 as I was concluding my preparation for teaching my first leadership conference on “Four Foundational Truths of Ministry”.

This movement is one I believe is being ushered in by the Holy Ghost as he speaks to the hearts and minds of individual believers urging them to draw nigh to God. This movement is about the remnant of mankind who will choose to follow Jesus Christ in these last and evil days and they will not succumb to the ways of this world which is even overtaking the Organized Church. This movement is about individual believers who are answering the call to Love God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength and to follow God through the knowledge of the Holy Scriptures and the leading of the Holy Spirit. This is an internal movement of the hearts of believers who make up the living body of Jesus Christ, his beloved bride, his church (1 Cor. 12)(2 Cor. 11:1-4)(Eph. 5:21-31)(Rev 21:1-9)

HOW THIS BLOG CAME TO BE

The Lord recently revealed to me what I’ve termed “Four Foundational Truths of Ministry” around which to develop instructional courses and teachings for individuals, ministers and ministries. This revelation is the culmination of over 48 years of studying, seeking God and praying for guidance and purpose regarding his Church and my purpose in life.

These materials will be intensively focused on the Holy Scriptures and its goal is to provide scriptures that instruct on the original purpose and design of the New Testament Church. Our purpose here is to share wisdom and teachings to assist individuals in their efforts to grow into the image of Christ and find the fulfillment and purpose that they have been seeking (Eph. 4:11-16).

It was just a few nights before I taught the first course as I was standing at my kitchen counter that the Lord spoke to my heart by the Holy Spirit and gave me the words “New Testament Church Movement.” Being a webmaster, I immediately returned to my computer to research the internet to see if this term was broadly used and on the availability of that domain name. To my sheer surprise but not amazement, I could not find the term in use anywhere in my searches. Soon afterwards I purchased the domain names of NTChurchMovement.com and NTChurchMovement.org. Now I am completing the vision the Lord gave me by creating this BLOG to serve as a voice and training resources for those who feel his leading and are seeking scriptural guidance.

PURPOSE OF THIS BLOG

Over the course of time, we propose to utilize this BLOG as a communication’s medium to provide studies, training materials, audio and video lessons and other tools to assist individuals in their growth efforts (1 Pet. 2:1-4). Our focus is not on teaching individuals what to believe because the scriptures teaches that the Holy Ghost is our teacher and He will lead each believer into all truth (John 14:26)(1 John 2:26-29). Our focus is on being a teacher providing instructions which one can study so believers can allow the Holy Spirit to bring them into maturity in Jesus Christ without the fear of being misled or seduced (Eph. 4:11-16)(2 Pet. 1:5-12).

HOW TO JOIN THE MOVEMENT

The key prerequisite for joining this movement is to first become a born again believer of Jesus Christ in your heart if you have not already done so (John 3)(Rom. 10:8-13). Also, this movement is about awaking the hearts of disciples of Jesus Christ who have fallen into the mold of simply “Going to Church” or being a “local church member” so they can stop neglecting to read the word or keep the Lord’s commandments (John 14:15)(John 15:10).

It is time for believers to stop simply “Going to Church”. It is time for believers to start “Being the Church” in their hearts. I believe this urgency is increasing in intensity as the hearts of mankind grow wiser and wickeder (Gen. 6:5-7)(1 Cor. 12)(1 Cor. 6:15-20)(2 Cor. 2:14-18).

God wants each of his believers to be the Church, his church, and to start flourishing where they live and work so others might see the Light of Jesus Christ shining through them and seek to be saved so they too can experience the fullness of life that is available through Jesus Christ (John 10:10).

Please join this movement and this BLOG will be here to provide you support and most of all you will know that you are NOT ALONE on this journey.
